Alleged DUI wreck on Highway 178 leaves man with major injuries, 21-year-old driver arrested

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A Toyota sedan wreck on Highway 178 early Wednesday morning left the front end of the car with major damage.

At about 2:33 a.m., a single vehicle wrecked in the eastbound lanes of Highway 178, crashing into the rocks, according to the CHP Traffic Incident Information page. The Kern County Fire Department and Hall Ambulance responded to the scene.
