CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – The Mecklenburg County Board of Commissioners approved more than $2 million Tuesday for 13 programs to help juvenile offenders that judges can refer them to after committing a crime.
The funding approval came after the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) charged a fourth juvenile with murder, in 2025 alone.
