4 women arrested after fight at Westlake home of Angelo’s Pizza owner Thomas Kess

WESTLAKE, Ohio — Four women are facing charges following a violent altercation early Tuesday morning inside a Westlake home that Westlake police and court records confirm belongs to Thomas Kess, owner of Angelo’s Pizza.

According to WPD, officers responded to the home on Devonshire Oval after receiving 911 calls reporting a woman had been attacked inside and broke a window to escape. First responders transported the woman to the hospital, where police say she was treated for “superficial wounds.”

“Our officers surrounded the house and tried to call the people out,” Westlake Captain Jerry Vogel said. “We weren’t getting a response from inside the house at that point, although they could see that people were in the house, so we ended up bringing SWAT apparatus there and SWAT personnel to help us with the situation.”…
