A local woman who began her teaching career in California is the winner of this week’s JET 24 PennWest University Golden Apple award.
JET 24’s Lou Baxter made an announcement at Cambridge Springs Elementary School. “Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. If you see Mrs. Martinez today, congratulate her. She’s a Golden Apple award winner!”
Patricia Martinez is a 3 rd grade teacher. She has been teaching 26 years. A career that began in California but eventually brought her home to the Penncrest School District. It was a career decision made early in life…
