State rep. calls new Grand Rapids Police Department docuseries ‘disgusting’

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – A state representative criticized the release of a new docuseries about the Grand Rapids Police Department as the murder trial approaches for one of its ex-officers charged with second-degree murder.

State Rep. Kristian Grant, D-Grand Rapids, questioned the timing of Investigation Discovery’s new “All Access PD: Grand Rapids,” an eight-episode series centered around a police force that’s faced widespread criticism and scrutiny.
