Linglestown family credits alarm company for saving lives in kitchen fire

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A Linglestown family is expressing gratitude after a fire broke out in their kitchen, crediting their alarm company for saving the life of their daughter and several pets inside.

The fire erupted Monday afternoon while Eric Belfanti was out running errands while his daughter was at home.

“Everything is replaceable in this house,” Belfanti said. “I just try to find something to stop the fire. However, the entire side of the kitchen was already in total flames up to the ceiling.”…
