A Johns Creek couple’s battle with BioLab over claims of furniture contamination

ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. — A Johns Creek couple is locked in a toxic tug-of-war with BioLab after they claim a chemical fire at the company’s Conyers facility contaminated their stored furniture — items they had placed in storage following a flood at their home last summer.

Jeffrey and Susan Lorber said they turned to ServiceMaster by LoveJoy to store their belongings while the hardwood floors in their home were being replaced in June 2024. At the time, they had no idea their furniture would end up across the street from a disaster zone.
