This Sunday, the Stockton community gears up to celebrate the annual Sikh Parade, a vibrant showcase of Sikh culture. With an expected attendance of thousands, the Stockton Police Department has issued a traffic advisory alerting residents and visitors of the scheduled road closures to accommodate this cultural procession. The 2025 Sikh Parade, taking place on April 20th from noon to 4:30 p.m., promises to be a significant event for the Sikh community and a colorful experience for all in attendance.

According to the official social media post from the Stockton Police Department, road closures will begin at 11 a.m. on the day of the parade. The route is set to start at Sikh Temple St and E 5th St, weaving its way through the city and culminating back at its starting point. Residents planning their Sunday activities should be advised to find alternate travel routes, as major streets like San Joaquin St, Washington St, and California St will be part of the procession’s pathway.
