Homeless man admits guilt in 2022 Myrtle Beach manslaughter case

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — A homeless man pleaded guilty to manslaughter on Wednesday in the 2022 killing of another homeless man in Myrtle Beach, the Fifteenth Circuit Solicitor’s Office said.

Christopher Lee Perry, 43, pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

He and the victim, Brian Edward Durost, 45, who was also homeless but originally from Massachusetts, got into an early morning argument on Oct. 17, 2022, the solicitor’s office said…
