Bella Maci brings heart, new flavor to Historic Folsom

Historic Folsom has welcomed another new culinary gem to its collection of local eateries. Bella Maci, a family-owned Italian-inspired restaurant, is now open at 807 Sutter Street, filling the cozy spot previously home to Sweet Dozen Corners dessert shop. More than just a new restaurant, Bella Maci is a labor of love brought to life by longtime local chef and restaurateur Brian Knadle, alongside his daughter Macy and her mother Brooke.

The restaurant’s name—Bella Maci—means “beautiful Macy,” a heartfelt tribute that reflects the family-centric vision behind the venture. Brian Knadle is no stranger to Folsom’s food scene. As the former owner and executive chef of Marly and Moo, and a former partner in Sutter Street Steakhouse, his name is synonymous with quality and creativity on the plate. But with Bella Maci, he set out to create something more intimate and personal.
