SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) — A portion of Fruitville Road is closed in Sarasota after a crash.
The Sarasota Police Department said a construction vehicle struck a light pole, knocking down power lines across the roadway.
Fruitville Road is closed between Lemon and Cocoanut Avenues. Traffic is being diverted to 2nd and 4th Streets.
Delays are expected over the next several hours as crews repair the power lines…
