MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Officers with the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) were along MD Route 355 Wednesday afternoon issuing citations to speeders and distracted drivers.
“We’re out here today just trying to make sure people are safe so the road can be used by pedestrians,” MCPD Sgt. Jeremy Smalley said.
Police say speeding and distracted driving have been big issues in recent months.
