WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Clear skies and settling breezes will allow temperatures to slip back to the chilly 40s for most of the Cape Fear Region by sunrise Thursday, so you might have your jacket ready to go once again! After some cool 40s and 50s early, enjoy sunshine and crisp lower 70s for highs again Thursday afternoon. Expect warm, gusty southwesterly breezes to redevelop 80s over Easter weekend. It remains mild after Easter but we should see increasing clouds and at least a risk of some showers and storms.
