CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — With the Easter holiday just days away many Coastal Bend locals may have plans to visit their favorite park to fire up the grill or to hide a few Easter eggs. Either way, there are some new changes that locals should expect upon arrival.
“At Labonte Park we’re going to have one entrance for both entering and exiting so that’s something a little different this year but TxDOT is working on their project,” said Director of Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Robert Dodd.
The Texas Department of Transportation is working on a multitude of projects. Those are scheduled to start 7 a.m. Good Friday and last until the Monday following Easter at 10 a.m., officials are discouraging any work that would require lane closures on the major corridors…
