Dino Park Zoo bringing prehistoric creatures to life

DES MOINES, Iowa — The Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines is going prehistoric this summer.

The site will host 15 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs and be properly renamed Dino Park Zoo from July through October. The roster of dinos includes a Tyrannosaurus rex, Triceratops, Quetzalcoatlus, Tenontosaurus and more.

“These scientifically accurate animatronics don’t just move, they breathe, roar, and some even fart and pee, creating a truly immersive, prehistoric experience,” the zoo said in a press release…
