Upgraded inclusive playground set to reopen in Clinton

CLINTON, Miss. ( WJTV ) – Clinton leaders announced the upgraded Brighton Park Inclusive Playground will reopen on Thursday, April 17. There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.

The playground renovation was completed as part of the city’s ongoing 2% Park Improvement Projects. According to officials, the updated playground features modern, inclusive, and accessible play equipment designed to provide a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment for children of all abilities.

“This project reflects our city’s continued commitment to investing in spaces where all children can play, grow, and thrive together,” said Clinton Mayor Phil Fisher. “We look forward to seeing the community gather and enjoy this beautiful, revitalized space.”

Immediately following the ribbon cutting, the playground will officially open for play.
