DENVER (KDVR) — On Sunday, U.S. Park Rangers at the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park recovered the remains of Jordan Marsters .
Marsters, 31, was reported missing to the Denver Police Department by his family on Feb. 15. The National Park Service said in a release 11 days later that Marsters had been seen traveling through Grand Junction on Feb. 11 and Montrose on Feb. 12.

His last known locations were in Montrose on Feb. 12 and 13, and the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park at about 7:20 a.m. on Feb. 13. An abandoned vehicle at Black Canyon of the Gunnison was linked to Marsters, where search efforts began.
On Wednesday, the National Park Service confirmed that human remains located in a remote and highly technical area of the wilderness in March were those of Marsters.
