PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) – The Oregon Senate passed a bill on Tuesday that would protect Oregonians who alert others of their constitutional rights without being found guilty of interfering with law enforcement.
The United States Constitution and the Oregon Constitution lay out freedoms, including freedoms of speech and association, along with due process and freedom from unreasonable searches and seizures.
