First Alert Forecast: 60s & 70s return for the end of the workweek

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Despite starting out the day near freezing, a big warmup is expected for both today and tomorrow.

It’s a good day for outdoor plans as highs for Thursday reach the mid to upper 60s. The day starts out mostly sunny, but clouds gradually roll back in. A few light showers are possible in the late evening, likely after 7 pm.

Friday will be warm and windy! Highs for Good Friday will climb into the upper 70s, with some towns south of Fort Wayne aiming for the 80-degree mark. We should be dry for the day, but winds will be a nuisance. Gusts will push up to 30-340 mph across the area…
