Popular Soup Recalled in Indiana for Contamination

There are a variety of soups and bowls that are a part of a massive recall in Indiana, and they could be in your refrigerator or freezer.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) issued a health alert, urging consumers to check their pantries and refrigerators. Why? Well, there are a variety of popular soups that are currently being recalled due to foreign matter contamination concerns. Several brands of soups and bowls are affected by this recall, and you might want to check your refrigerator and freezer to make sure that you don’t have any of these products.

Why are Campbell’s Soup and Others Being Recalled?

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service, various soup and bowl products may be contaminated with wood after the agency found that the cilantro used in the products, an ingredient in the affected products, may be contaminated with the foreign matter.
