NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee lawmakers are working to pass a bill to create a registry for domestic violence offenders.
HB 1200, sponsored by Representative Sabi Kumar (R-Springfield), would enact “Savanna’s Law,” creating a registry of persistent domestic violence offenders maintained by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. It passed the House unanimously and is headed to the Senate for a vote.
