A Loris man has been jailed under no bond in Tuesday’s slaying of a Whiteville woman.
Whiteville Police and Horry County Police arrested Anthony Sumpter, 52, in the early morning hours of April 17 (today). He has been charged with murder and is awaiting extradition from South Carolina.
