( KRON ) — A person was injured after an attempted robbery Wednesday morning in Walnut Creek, the city’s police department announced. The robbery happened around 11:45 a.m. in a residential area on the 3300 block of Arbolado Drive.
Officers arrived at the scene, but the suspect vehicle had already left the area, police said. Multiple suspects assaulted the victim in an attempt to steal his personal property. It is unclear what they were trying to steal.
The victim’s injuries were minor, according to the Walnut Creek Police Department (WCPD). No weapons were used during the assault, police said.
