FORT WORTH, Texas — A person died early Thursday after falling about 50 feet down a shaft in an abandoned building in Fort Worth, officials say.
Police were called to the building in the 400 block of N. Main Street near the West Fork of the Trinity River shortly after 3 a.m. and determined a person likely fell down a shaft at or near the hydroelectric plant there, according to a press release.
