Hailey Van Lith Reveals True Feelings on Rejoining Angel Reese

Before the 2023-24 college basketball season, LSU head coach Kim Mulkey convinced Louisville guard Hailey Van Lith to join the Tigers through the transfer portal. The goal was to win back-to-back National Championships; however, despite having a frontcourt that featured All-American forward Angel Reese, LSU fell short of its title aspirations.

As fate would have it, the two have been reunited just under two years later, but this time, in the WNBA. The Chicago Sky chose Van Lith, who finished her college career with the TCU Horned Frogs, with the No. 11 pick in the WNBA Draft on Monday night.

After three successful campaigns at Louisville to begin her college career, Van Lith struggled to mesh with the defending champion Tigers. Her stats certainly took a hit, but fans also noticed that the 5-foot-9 guard seemed like she was losing her fire on the court.

Some WNBA fans were worried about a potential reunion with Van Lith and Reese for this reason, but the rookie denied that notion. She revealed her true feelings on rejoining Reese at the team facility in Chicago at her introductory press conference …
