Why Is Waffle House So Popular in Louisiana?
I would have to say it’s consistency. I don’t think there have been any major changes to the Waffle House menu since they opened their first store in 1955. Of course, I am kidding but honestly, besides the recent egg surcharge, when was the last time you heard any news of a Waffle House adding something new or removing an old favorite from their menu?
Let me help you out with that last question. The last time Waffle House made a significant menu change was in 2016 when the restaurant removed a couple of specialty items from its daily offerings. Just for clarity’s sake, the restaurant does experiment and try new items at certain stores as a way of test marketing so it’s not like the menu is static but for practical purposes, it just doesn’t change that much…
