NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The black IV Waste trucks collecting trash and spraying lemony scent in the French Quarter and Downtown New Orleans will stop rolling in the areas at the end of July, the city announced Wednesday (April 16).
The City of New Orleans said it gave IV Waste president Sidney Torres IV its 90-day notice of termination of its emergency sanitation contract, effective July 30. The city said Henry Consultants, owned by businessman Troy Henry, will assume sanitation services in the area starting Aug. 1, “based on their properly procured and awarded contract.”
