While on patrol, deputies were dispatched to the 8500 block of South Sam Houston Parkway East in reference to a reported theft/shoplifting incident.
Upon arrival, deputies detained a 21-year-old Hispanic female suspect, identified as Sharon Villars. Store personnel reported that Villars walked past the point of sale with a shopping cart full of unpaid merchandise.
Deputies conducted an investigation and contacted the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. Charges were accepted, and Villars was transported to the Harris County Joint Processing Center without incident…
