Good Morning. Today will once again be sunny, warm, and inactive. The key change in today’s weather will be the beginning of a weak 2 day warming event. Yesterday’s slight disturbance to our Northeast is no longer close enough to have any input on the PNW. So, ridging will be building in intensity today and thus pressure is increasing. Today’s ridging will place a local zone of low pressure somewhere between the Coast and the Valley. This will function as a “thermal trough” which will force East winds for today and tomorrow. These winds will be responsible for the additional few degrees we will be gaining through Friday. Temps today will reach the high 60’s over the Valley, low 70’s in the Basin and mid 60’s on the Coast. Expect the sunshine to continue into mid next week at least. Temps…..
