Chance of evening showers in Phoenix; rain, snow likely in northern Arizona

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Two different storm systems will impact Arizona over the next few days.

The first, a weak area of low pressure off the coast of California, has already brought us some rather breezy conditions statewide on Thursday as well as cooler temperatures.

Red Flag Warnings and Wind Advisories were posted for much of eastern Arizona and from Flagstaff east along the Mogollon Rim. Springerville had a peak wind gust of 51 miles an hour. Other areas along the rim country were pushing gusts in the mid-40s…
