Portlanders are deeply dissatisfied with the city’s upkeep of roadways and sidewalks, ranking it dead last among an array of municipal services tracked in a large new survey.
Street maintenance received the lowest favorability rating by residents, trailing behind even the city’s oft-criticized permitting system and increasingly costly water and sewer services, according to a report released this week by the city of Portland.
