NORRISTOWN, P.A. (KYW Newsradio) — The first of eight men implicated in a massive gun trafficking ring that ran from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh, and north to New York and Connecticut, was sentenced to a minimum of 22 and half, but maximum of 45 years in prison by a Montgomery County judge.
Larry B. Williams, 42, of Philadelphia, was the purported leader of the ring and faced more than 1,000 felonies in connection with the ring, which was brought down by law enforcement in 2023.
Williams had initially entered a guilty plea with prosecutors in February last year, but tried to withdraw it at a May 2024 sentencing hearing on the premise he took bad advice from his then-attorney…
