CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Suspects accused of trespassing, joyrides at NOVA Wild

RESTON, Va. — NOVA Wild Zoo is asking for the public’s help in identifying a group of vandals who broke into the facility overnight, leaving behind a path of destruction and distress.

According to a statement from the zoo, the break-in happened late Wednesday night and involved four individuals who trespassed onto zoo property, damaging multiple animal exhibits—including the capybara enclosure—and gaining access to zoo work vehicles, which they used to joyride throughout the park.

“We’ve worked tirelessly to create a safe and enjoyable environment for our animals and guests, and this senseless act is a huge setback for us,” the zoo shared in a video post on its official Facebook page, which has since garnered over 16,000 views. “We need your help to identify the specific individual and the three others involved in this incident!”…
