BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Four people were arrested after allegedly running from deputies and having an AR-15 style rifle in a car. Another person was arrested for accessory after one of the alleged suspects went inside their apartment.
The Kern County District Attorney’s Office said on April 15, 2025, at around 12:45 p.m., deputies were called to the area of Palm Avenue and Myrtle Avenue regarding multiple people inside a black Mercedes reportedly having a rifle.
