A 27-year-old Marion County man was arrested on battery and assault charges after he allegedly held a gun to his stepfather’s neck and struck the victim in the forehead with its barrel.
On Tuesday, April 15, a Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputy made contact with the male victim at his residence. The victim advised that his stepson, Ocklawaha resident James Isaac Seaman, had “broke through his locked bedroom door” and “push(ed) him around the room,” according to the arrest report.
During the altercation, the victim alleged that Seaman grabbed him “by his neck” and “pushed (him) down onto the bed.” Seaman then allegedly held a small black handgun to the victim’s neck and threatened to “shoot” him…
