SELMA, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Community members of Selma came together Thursday to help improve safety on the streets within the city.
Police said Selma High School students, neighborhood children, local residents and city of Selma staff took part in the City of Selma Tactical Urbanism Safe Streets Study on Thompson Street and Lewis Street.
Law enforcement and community members painted the crosswalks and bike lanes with vibrant red and what seems to be bear claws all throughout.
