2 shot dead last year in Sacramento Taco Bell parking lot identified

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has identified the two victims killed late last year in a South Natomas shooting, a case in which police said Wednesday three people were arrested.

Diana Shequela Watkins, 35, of Sacramento, and Denzale Lamont Watkins, 33, of Martinez, were killed around 6 p.m. Nov. 19, 2024, along the 3800 block of Northgate Boulevard, the coroner’s office told ABC10 on Wednesday.

The pair were pronounced dead at the scene, and the shooting appeared to have taken place in a Taco Bell parking lot where several casings were found, authorities said at the time…
