Ohio Weather Alert: Wind Gusts Up to 45 MPH Expected Friday Along I-77 Corridor

Cleveland, OH – Strong southwest winds are expected to impact much of Ohio on Friday, bringing gusts up to 45 mph and temperatures soaring into the 80s.

According to the National Weather Service Cleveland office, the windiest conditions will develop late Friday morning into the afternoon, with the most intense gusts—around 40 mph—likely along and west of the I-77 corridor. Isolated gusts could reach up to 45 mph, especially in areas such as Findlay, Fremont, and Marion. Gusty winds will diminish gradually through the evening hours, tapering off by 10 p.m.
