An officer with the New Orleans Police Department was re-arrested Wednesday on two counts of violating a protective order and 36 counts each of obscene phone calls and stalking, Orleans Parish Criminal District Court records show.
Officer Kaja Rhea, 25, will be held without bond until a Monday dangerousness hearing, magistrate commissioner Jay Daniels ruled, granting the state’s request over defense attorney Eric Hessler’s objections.
