Great Mexican Restaurant in Colorado Is All About the Bull

Where once there was a nice little Italian restaurant, there now resides a nice little Mexican restaurant, that wraps its arms around the area’s history and the memory of a great bull.

The Windsor mill, at one time was a flour mill. Folks might remember a billiard table company being on the site. The 2008 tornado in Windsor damaged the mill, and when reconstruction was happening in 2017, the mill suffered a fire.

Tiho’s Tequila Bar & Restaurant gets its name, according to them, from a famous bull named Tiho Elevation. Tiho, they say, roamed with the Timnath Holsteins on the local Fisher Farm. Throughout the restaurant, you’ll find lots of bulls.

The owners/operators of Tiho’s spent many months turning the space from an Italian restaurant into Tiho’s. In 2017, the building, the former mill in Windsor, suffered a devastating fire; the exposed red bricks and wood beams inside Tiho’s are what remained after that fire…
