Two people sentenced to prison following 2024 fentanyl death

SALT LAKE CITY — Two Cedar City residents received prison sentences for their role in the fentanyl overdose and death of a woman almost a year ago.

According to a press release from the Office of the United States Attorney for the District of Utah, John Parry, 40, and Kimberly Dawn Hare, 34, pleaded guilty in November 2024 to selling fentanyl to the victim.
