LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Two men accused of killing a beloved Las Vegas bartender appeared in court earlier today. Philip Strong, 20, and Charles Wright, 18, have decided to waive their right to a jury trial within 60 days, allowing the case to be tried at a later date.
The two men stood before the judge in a courtroom filled with their family and pleaded not guilty to the alleged crime. Strong and Wright were both arrested for the murder of 29-year-old Hope Ritter.
Ritter was a beloved mom and bartender at Atomic Liquors in the downtown area. Following her shift on February 15, Ritter was in her car with a man near 11th Street and Lewis Avenue early in the morning when the tragedy unfolded…
