Ongoing security concerns cause lockdowns at state prisons

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Ongoing security concerns have caused lockdowns at several state prisons in Arizona.

The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry said the impacted prisons are the Cimarron Unit in Tucson, the Rynning Unit at Eyman in Florence, the Buckley, Morey, and Rast units at Lewis in Buckeye, the Kaibab Unit in Winslow, and the Dakota Unit in Yuma.

Visitations at those facilities were canceled on Thursday, April 17. It is unclear when those lockdowns would be lifted…
