An updated report from the National Weather Service was issued on Friday at noon EDT for strong thunderstorms until 1 p.m. EDT for Saginaw, Tuscola, Shiawassee and Genesee counties.
The storms could bring marble-sized hail (0.5 inches) and wind gusts of up to 40 mph.
“At 11:59 a.m., Doppler radar tracked a strong thunderstorm near St. Johns, moving east at 55 mph,” says the weather service. “Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.”…
