MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A car crash caused roadblocks and traffic lights to go out early Friday morning in the airport area.
According to reports, a vehicle hit a pole and caught fire on East Shelby Drive and Swinnea Road, leaving two lanes blocked. Memphis Police say one man was taken to an area hospital in non-critical condition.
Traffic lights are also out at Shelby Drive and Swinnea Road, and Shelby Drive and Airways Boulevard. However, traffic control is on the scene to help drivers navigate through the intersection.
