Suspect in Hustler Club shooting arrested, charged

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The man wanted in connection with a shooting at a Nashville strip club was arrested on Thursday afternoon and charged with two counts of attempted criminal homicide.

Detectives tracked down 30-year-old Javonte McCree-Brown on Thursday afternoon and took him into custody for shooting two men while they sat in a car outside the Hustler Club in the early-morning hours of April 9.

The arrest affidavit states that officers were dispatched to the club at 822 Rep. John Lewis Way South around 2:40 a.m. and arrived to find two men suffering from critical gunshot wounds. Both were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and are expected to survive…
