Congratulations to Kaleese Howard, a very talented Arkansas High School student, whose artwork “The Beginning” has been selected for the 2025 Governor’s Young Artist Competition and Exhibit coming this May at the Governor’s mansion in Little Rock.
Painting: The Beginning
According to a recent press release, this prestigious recognition highlights Kaleese’s creativity and dedication to her craft. As part of this honor, Kaleese will attend the opening reception at the Arkansas Governor’s Mansion, where her artwork will be displayed alongside other outstanding pieces from young artists across the state.
Chelsie Morgan, Kaleese’s art instructor at Arkansas High School in Texarkana, shared her excitement about this achievement. “Kaleese’s work reflects not only her incredible artistic talent but her willingness to experiment, take creative risks, and push the boundaries of her imagination.
“I am so proud of her and thrilled to see her talent recognized at such a distinguished level,” said Chesie Morgan, Art Instructor at AHS.
