Missing Arkansas Autistic young man spotted on Joplin cameras

BARRY COUNTY, Mo. (KOAM) — A missing Arkansas high-functioning autistic and partially nonverbal man abandoned his car near Butterfield, Mo. And at one point he was spotted on cameras in Joplin, Mo. Thursday morning, April 17, 11:36 a.m.

Terry “TJ” Bishop, 22, was last seen Wednesday morning April 16, at 6:30 a.m. He might be wearing surgical scrubs.

He may not speak unless directly addressed and may not respond to strangers.

  • WEARING: surgical scrubs
  • DRIVING: 2001 green Chevy Malibu (now recovered)

Update: We are in Cassville [Butterfield], MO where the car was found. TJ is still missing. We have gotten a little bit of a timeline from cameras coming out of Joplin heading south.
