A young hiker fell 25 to 30 feet at Starved Rock State Park.
First responders rushed out to the state park at around 5 o’clock Thursday afternoon for a 14-year-old boy who fell at La Salle Canyon. Rescue crews reached him about a half hour later. He was taken by boat across the Illinois River to an awaiting ambulance. The ambulance then took him to a Life Flight helicopter. He was flown to Loyola Medical Center in stable condition…
