Man shoots girlfriend’s mother, brother following domestic dispute in south St. Louis

ST. LOUIS — An argument between a man and his girlfriend’s family ended with two people hospitalized Thursday afternoon in south St. Louis.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, a 32-year-old man and his 31-year-old girlfriend were at the girlfriend’s mother’s home in the 2900 block of Mount Pleasant Street when, at about 12:15 p.m., an argument broke out between the man and his girlfriend’s 23-year-old brother.

Police said the brother was upset that the man was at his mother’s home. The 32-year-old ended up leaving the home after the argument, but he returned a few minutes later and fired shots into the house, which struck the girlfriend’s brother and 53-year-old mother in the legs…
